Liquid Nitrogen Delivery Services

Trusted Liquid Nitrogen Delivery Services through our Specialist Partner.

What Is Liquid Nitrogen?

Liquid nitrogen (LN₂) is nitrogen gas that has been cooled to approximately -196°C, causing it to change from a gas into a liquid.

It is a colourless, odourless, non-flammable cryogenic liquid widely used in medical, scientific, laboratory and industrial applications.

Liquid nitrogen is particularly valuable because it can maintain extremely low temperatures without the need for conventional mechanical refrigeration.

When exposed to normal atmospheric temperatures, liquid nitrogen rapidly evaporates and expands into nitrogen gas.

One litre of liquid nitrogen can produce approximately 700 litres of nitrogen gas, making appropriate storage, handling and ventilation essential.

Although nitrogen is not toxic, the release of large quantities of nitrogen gas can displace oxygen from the surrounding atmosphere and create a potentially life-threatening oxygen-deficient environment.

Liquid Nitrogen Supply and Delivery Services

Britannia Monitoring Systems can assist organisations requiring liquid nitrogen for specialist applications for up to 1000 Litres.

Our liquid nitrogen supply solutions are intended to support customers who depend on cryogenic temperatures for their daily operations.

Regular Liquid Nitrogen Supply

For facilities with ongoing liquid nitrogen requirements of up to 1000 Litres, regular supply arrangements can help maintain sufficient stock for cryogenic storage and operational processes.

This is particularly important for IVF clinics, medical facilities and research laboratories where interruptions to liquid nitrogen availability could affect valuable stored materials.

Liquid Nitrogen Supply for Laboratories

Laboratories frequently use liquid nitrogen for sample preservation, scientific research, cryogenic processing and specialist cooling applications.

We can help laboratories identify suitable liquid nitrogen supply and storage arrangements based on their operational requirements.

Liquid Nitrogen Supply for IVF Clinics

IVF clinics and fertility centres rely on liquid nitrogen for the long-term cryogenic preservation of embryos, eggs and sperm.

Maintaining an appropriate liquid nitrogen level within cryogenic storage vessels is essential for protecting valuable biological materials.

Britannia Monitoring Systems can support IVF facilities with liquid nitrogen supply arrangements, Cryopal storage vessels and associated monitoring and safety equipment.

Industrial Liquid Nitrogen Supply

Liquid nitrogen is also used in industrial environments for cooling, freezing, shrink fitting and specialist manufacturing processes.

We can assist industrial customers with their liquid nitrogen storage and supply requirements.
