Glycol Buffer

Glycol is commonly used as a temperature buffer in medical fridges to create a more stable environment and better reflect the product temperature. A test tube or pot is filled with glycol and then the probe inserted, this then helps prevent rapid temperature fluctuations creating a more consistent environment for accurate measurements. The temperature buffer can be used in equipment monitoring between -10°C to +60°C.
