When you place an order, request a product catalogue or provide customer feedback using our website, we need to collect personal information such as your postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and bank account details etc. We gather this information to allow us to deal with your request.

You may give us your identity, contact and financial data by filling in data entry forms on our website, or by corresponding with us by phone, email, post or otherwise. This includes the personal data you provide when you:

Make an initial enquiry regarding our products or services;
NB: We store your information securely via Really Simple Systems CRM that complies with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and on peripheral/networked hard drives and PC's. The information you give us may include your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, mobile number, payment information and any documents you may upload containing your personal information. We may also collect and process records of any correspondence and communications with us and telephone calls may also be recorded.

Completing of service sheets and other physical documentation;
NB: Information gathered via this method is held securely in a customer filling system, backed up to a peripheral/ networked drives and transferred to Really Simple Systems CRM. The information you give us may include your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, mobile number.

Customer feedback via our website (completed at the end of a site visit);
ND: We store this information in Google Sheets. The information you give us may include, name, email address.

Automated technologies or interactions

As you interact with our website, we may automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. We collect this personal data by using cookies, server logs, and other similar technologies. We may also receive Technical Data about you if you visit other websites employing our cookies.

When remote support is provided via TeamViewer software technical information, including the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, operating system and platform may be collected.

4. How we use your data

Below describes of all the ways we plan to use your personal data, and the legal basis we rely on to do so. 

To allow us to perform our contract with you: When you purchase services from us, a contract between you and us will have been entered into. In order for us to fulfil our obligations under such contract, we will need to collect and process your personal information, including payment information. Failure to provide the requisite personal information prior to, during the work including payment information on entering into the contract or objecting to this type of processing / exercising your deletion rights will mean that we cannot provide our services to you.

To allow us to exercise our legitimate interests as a data controller: We rely on our legitimate interests as a data controller to process the personal information that you provide to us on purchase orders, service sheets or through any otherwise, and to process personal information that we collect from . It is in our legitimate interests as a business to process the above information in to order administer that our content is presented to you effectively and securely.

Marketing

We will only contact you with marketing material if you give us permission to receive our communications. Every time we send out marketing communications, we give you the opportunity to unsubscribe.

When we are running a marketing campaign, we may use your Identity, Contact, Technical and Profile Data to select what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you.
