Ultra Low & Cryogenic Sensor Range

Ultra Low &

Cryogenic Sensors

With ultra low temperature equipment, such as -80 freezers, a strong, robust sensor is essential to be able to cope with the cold, harsh environment.

All our probes are made of stainless steel and can be fitted anywhere in your equipment through entry ports. These ports are normally situated on the top or back of the units.

The probes can be manufactured to any desired size and length to make sure that they can easily be fitted where ever needed.

Extension cables can also be added to allow the user to easily unplug the sensors if needed, without the need of removing them out of the equipment. An example of this is repair works or cleaning.

The sensors are of a thermocouple type K/T style, temperature range -200 to +200 °C.

Robust & Flexible

Ultra Low sensors are strong but flexible enough to fit neatly.

Custom Lengths

Extensions

Sensor extension cables can be manufactured to any length.

-200 to 200°C as standard. Other temperature ranges can be manufactured.
At -196°C Liquid Nitrogen can be a very tough environment for temperature sensors. At Britannia we fit high class stainless steel sensors that are tough and robust, while also being very flexible. This means that the sensors do not become brittle due to extremely low temperatures.

A small tube is inserted into one canister, and the sensor is fitted inside of this. This then stops the sensor from coming loose and becoming an obstruction to the user when using the storage vessel.

Due to the fact the sensors are made of stainless steel they are easily capable of withstanding such a lower temperature, while still giving an exceptional accuracy.
