TEMPERATURE SENSORS

Fridge Sensors

Here at Britannia we offer a wide range of fridge temperature sensors to fulfil any need. Whether it be for air temperature monitoring, or a probe to simulate the temperature of a product stored within, the choice is yours.

Many different options are available with any style, length or thickness possible. As well as monitoring the fridge air temperature, many clients also wish to monitor the product temperature.

This is achieved by fitting a thicker sensor inside a special liquid. This then simulates the change in temperature inside the product, instead of the air temperature, which warms up a lot faster than the product temperature when the door is opened.

Sensor is of a Thermistor style, temperature range -50 to +150 degrees C.

 Freezer Sensors

Britannia's freezer sensors are a high quality Mineral insulated sensor, making it robust for the colder conditions in a freezing environment.

The sensors are manufactured to the highest standard, giving it excellent accuracy even in -86 degrees freezers. Being made of stainless steel the sensor will not become brittle or weak as many other sensors do.

The sensors can be tailored to any length desired.

Sensor are of a Type T/K thermocouple style, temperature range -50 to +150 C.
Racking Sensors
Are you required to monitor products while in storage ready for distribution? If so getting the correct style of sensors in your racking area is essential. As multiple level sensors are usually required (top, middle and bottom) then these sensors need to be multiple lengths and of rigid construction.

All our racking sensors can be made to any length and sensor tips are of a solid metal design to make them robust to with stand any damage.

Sensors can be either thermistor, type T/K thermocouple or PT1000 for high accuracy readings if needed.

As well as fixed wire sensors Britannia also offer a wireless sensor option. Click here to see the range.
